The B100 is the only King Air model to date to be fitted with Garrett engines. All other King Air models are Pratt & Whitney-powered. The King Air B100, features 715 shp (533 kW) Garrett AiResearch TPE-331 engines as an alternative to the Pratt & Whitneys offered on other King Airs.

    My father’s old firm, Ti-Caro Gastonia, NC, purchased a new B-100 circa 1981. Curious if there is anyway to verify if the aircraft is still being operated. Serial should be BE 103-122
