• Aircraft systems expert; performed aircraft pre/post-flight, final visual inspections, non-scheduled aircraft maintenance, and maintained forms and records during mission flights.<br />
• Maintained all electrical, communication, navigation, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems relating to aircraft systems by interpreting diagrams, schematics, and flight manuals.<br />
• Computed/recorded aircraft performance and system status of engine fuel consumption using airspeed, atmospheric data, charts, computer, or electronic calculator.<br />
• Resolved technical problems; communicated status adequacy of equipment and aircraft.</p>
<p>Mechanical<br />
• Able to inspect individual parts, assemblies, and installations for conformance to specifications using instruments such as calipers, scales, and micrometers.<br />
• Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective aircraft maintenance<br />
• Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations.<br />
• Examine and inspect aircraft components, including landing gear, hydraulic systems, and de-icers to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problem.<br />
• Replace/repaired worn, defective/damaged components, using hand tools, gauges, testing equip.<br />
• Inspect completed work to certify that maintenance meets standards and that aircraft are ready for operation.</p>
